Music, Australia, Flight Delays and couch surfing pt 3

After coming off about 20 shows with the boys I’ve had to leave them to do some shows back in Sydney with another project I’m a part of called ‘After the Beatles’. Just learned 30 songs for the show which puts me to a total of 50+ in a month. My brain is half friend, but what an education!
Coming off the plane from Perth to Sydney, I realise that I’ve got about 10 charts to write. It’s not 1am and the first rehearsal for the Beatles shows is tomorrow at 11am. Time to pull an all nighter. Went to bed at 6am and got up at 9 to be there to do 2 full days rehearsal. It was an intense feeling to not have had time to re-adjust to being back but it was great to think that I was completely flooded with musical opportunity.

During this entire journey, I began to realise what was most important in my life in regards to music. The most important thing to me is that I play music honestly, always being sincere and willing to give of myself at all times. Never slacking off and never giving it half of my heart. If I was born to do this, then it deserves my very best.
I can choose what I do so I will only chose things I must do to get to doing what I love to do. I will learn to do it with all of my heart and to push through all the tough times so that one day I will be considered a hard worker.
