9.5.13 – Two years ago I started playing the piano again
It is crazy to think that only a little over 2 years ago I began to play the piano again. Oh how my life has changed since those humble beginnings. Finding the thing I love doing and living it out day by day has given me the most rewarding two years of my entire life. Life has a strong and ever growing purpose and my world only feels like it’s getting larger. Imagine if I never took that chance and risked it all.

As I grow older, I realize that those who bring life don’t necessarily know it all, but continue to dream and live with an open mind in all aspects of life. Those that believe they are better then no man and that no man is better then them are the people for me.

When I look back
When I look back and read my old stories, I see someone who believed beyond reason that there was more to life then what he was seeing. Then one day he let go of those holding him back from those dreams and began to live it.
When I look back and read the old writings, I see someone who was afraid to take a chance or make a change, but wasn’t comfortable with staying the same way. I see a boy who felt like he knew a lot.
The cool thing is that the boy who dreamed of it all actually took the chances and today he has become more then he ever could have if he had remained comfortable and in his fears.

Back to basics : A journal of random thoughts
I’m looking through old photos. I can’t help but notice how innocent you are when you are younger and that when you get older how you turn to being ‘mature’ and ‘serious’. The thing that I’ve noticed is that life can be taken too seriously. I know there are times where I have definitely been too serious. Life doesn’t necessarily have to be mature and full of ‘purpose’ all the time. Sometimes it’s just like a roller-coaster and you just have to go along for the ride!

First explorations of Space
I wrote this track just as an experiment for some new gear I had acquired. The music that came forth had that ‘new frontier’ ‘exploration’ vibe to it, so I named it ‘First explorations of Space’.
I’ve been wanting to put random video clips together of life over the past few months. Ironically the past few months have been an exploration for me and also quite a spacious way of living. The term ‘First explorations of Space’ has now taken on two meanings. The original was the sound of “Space/The Solar System” and the second meaning “Freedom/exploration/wide open spaces”.
The clips are random shots taken from parts of my life over the past 4 months. They have been some of the most incredible months of my entire life.
