Fond memories

This photo was taken during a fundraiser event in 2012. This was the volunteer young adults ministry band which was able to pull off an amazingly musical performance of Janelle Monae’s “Tightrope”. It still is one of my favourite moments serving alongside some of my favourite people.

The potential of music

There’s no way to describe the effect that music has on me. The closest way I could describe it to you is to show you this video of an elderly disabled man responding to hearing music from his era. His name is Henry.

Hard Work Pays Off

At the beginning of 2011, I decided that I wanted to become a Session Musician. I wanted to could express myself on the Piano. After a couple of years of full-time teaching in schools I had lost my ability to play well. I can definitely say that the hard work has paid off.
