Terms & Conditions
Payment: The total fee for the session must be paid via cash, or direct deposit in advance of three weeks prior to attending a music lesson or school holiday program. Following payments are to be made the week before the following 3 week cycle.
Duration: Music lessons are either 30 minutes or one hour duration. Fees will not be refunded or reduced if the student arrives after the organised time thereby reducing the music session.
Cancellation policy: The Student/Parent must notify the teacher 24 hours prior to his/her music lesson when the session cannot be attended. The session will be made available in addition to his/her usual lesson time or credited for the following session. If the Student/Parent does not notify the teacher prior to his/her arranged music lesson the Student/Parent will be charged the full amount of the session.
Cancellation policy for school holiday music program: The Student/Parent must notify the teacher and give 3 days notice prior to any school holiday music programs commencing when unable to attend. The teacher cannot refund however the Student/Parent will receive a credit note for the next available program. If the Student/Parent does not notify the teacher prior to the program commencing he/she will be charge the full amount.
Bookings: Booking of sessions and or school holiday music programs programs must be completed prior to commencing the first lesson All music lessons must be booked by agreement between Daren and the Student/Parent subject to availability.
Attendance: The Student/Parent must be punctual in his/her attendance at all music lessons. If the student is delayed for any reason the Student/Parent must notify Daren as far in advance as possible. If the student attends the session more than 15mins late, without notifying the teacher, then the teacher reserves the right to cancel the session without notice.
Personal Behaviour: The Student must respect the teacher and other attendees in the music lesson. In the case of bad language, violence, ignorant conduct and behaviour that prevents the lesson from proceeding the teacher reserves the right to remove the student from the music lesson. If the student does not comply with his/her obligations under this paragraph the teacher may, in his/her discretion, terminate the client’s music lesson.
